Russell Group joins with European counterparts to show support for Swiss association to Horizon Europe

The Russell Group has joined with other research-intensive university groups across Europe to express support for Switzerland’s association to Horizon Europe.
In a joint statement, the groups, which together represent 61 leading research-intensive universities across Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, call for the European Commission and Swiss Federal Council to work positively together to secure Switzerland’s association with the global research programme.
Highlighting the benefits of Switzerland’s association to the programme, the groups express the positive impact that would be felt in Horizon should the country join, outlining how ‘stronger research partnerships strengthen the whole of Europe.’
