New Global Talent visa launched

In response to the Government’s announcement of a new visa for skilled international research staff, Ben Moore, policy analyst at the Russell Group, said:

"Today’s announcement demonstrates Government’s genuine commitment to attracting top research talent from across the world. This new route should accelerate the recruitment of a range of international staff essential to research.

"We look forward to working with Government to ensure the UK is a global hub for research and development, including the development of the new points-based immigration system and the welcome review of research bureaucracy."
