Student immigration poll

Commenting on a new poll which revealed more than 2/3 of Londoners would oppose tighter controls on student immigration, Russell Group Head of Policy Jessica Cole said:

“International students are good for London and good for the UK. They are indispensable for our universities, contributing to a diverse student body and a thriving society, culture and economy.

“The Russell Group believes ensuring students from Europe and around the world can continue to study at our leading universities must be a Brexit priority. This poll suggests that Londoners agree.”
