HESA employment statistics 2016

Commenting on the latest HESA employment statistics, Director General of the Russell Group, Dr Wendy Piatt said:
“The latest release of HESA statistics shows that a higher percentage Russell Group graduates are going into professional occupations than ever before. This reflects our universities’ commitment to ensuring students are able to develop intellectually and socially, and are in a strong position to succeed in a very competitive job market.
"The combination of teaching, research and innovation excellence in our universities creates the ideal learning environment to produce work-ready students from an increasingly diverse range of backgrounds. Our students are developed as critical thinkers and independent learners, which is why 11 of the top 50 universities in the world, as ranked by employers, are Russell Group universities.”
