HEPI mental health report

Commenting on a new report from the Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI) on mental health support for students, Russell Group head of policy Sarah Stevens said:

“New students arriving at Russell Group institutions this week can look forward to a world-class university experience, but we know that the move to higher education can be difficult. Our members have invested heavily in support services and mental health provision to this end and work closely with the NHS and other partners.

“From the transition between school and university all the way to graduation, good mental health is essential to a student’s academic success and a rewarding higher education experience. Supporting students from the moment they arrive on campus is a priority for our members.”
